Our Plans for the Summer...
May 21, 2010
Summer is a time when we like to work on great new ideas. This summer we are adding a lot of cool new stuff, here is a
sneak peak at what we are going to be working on.
Behavior Tracking:
We are going to be adding a lot of new things to the behavior tracking. What we are really excited about is that fact that these new features will piggyback off your existing data. This means you get a lot more information without having to do any additional work!Making Goal Tracker "Smarter":
Another thing we are focusing on this summer is making Goal Tracker "Smarter". An example of this is how we improved the way behavior incidents are entered. Custom behavior entries are now smartly "remembered". We got serveral requests for users to add their own presets, so we took it a step further and did it automatically!Summer Cleaning:
Our version of spring cleaning will be cleaning up some areas that are a little confusing. For example, creating reports is a pretty simple process, but the options screen at the end is a little intimidating. We are simplifying the options page and including a report preview, making it easier to get a report that fits your needs.Posted By: Derek

Estimated Mastery Date *Now Available*
Jul 29, 2009
New Feature: Estimated Mastery Date!
Have you ever been asked... "When will my child's goals be completed?"We will soon be releasing an update that allows Goal Tracker to predict the mastery date of your objectives! But don't get confused, this is not just a guess, our engineers have devised a way to predict progress based on students' data.
How will Estimated Mastery help me?
Goal Tracker can now shed some light on that age old question "How long?". Our goal is to make your life easier, and we can do that by helping you answer tough questions like this. It can be really hard to glance at data and guess when an objective might reach mastery, so let Goal Tracker do the work for you.
How is Estimated Mastery going to work?
It's easy! You just take your data as normal and Goal Tracker will use that data to simulate points. The simulation takes into account the trend, variation in data, time between data points, and more... (math is not fun, so we will spare you the details).
Will the mastery prediction always be accurate?
The only thing we have right now that predicts the future perfectly is our uncle's crystal ball. Unfortunately, we were unable to borrow it from him. But seriously, the prediction is strictly based on the student's past data. There might be other factors that affect the progress of the student that we cannot predict (which may cause the prediction to be off).
Can Estimated Mastery be turned off?
Yes, it can be turned on or off at anytime.
